To ensure that safety and security at RHB Banking Group employees and clients at RHB Centre, RHB Bangi Complex, Crystal Plaza, Tun H.S. Lee, Jalan Silang and Bank Branches are maintained at all times.  Managing RHB Kawal Sdn Bhd and its assets.

Strategy and Planning

• Identify principal objective, financial and other performance measures, as well as people and resource requirements for the SFG.
• Provide direction and technical advice to subordinates, share information and facilitate problem solving.
• Monitor and assess the performance of security service providers for Head Office and Bank Branches.
• Perform security audit at branches on annual basis.

Administration

• Safe custody of all weapons and ammunitions in the company’s inventory.
• Ensure weapon licenses and Carry and Use (C&U) holders are duly renewed and main business license is renewed annually of each calendar year for business continuity.
• Ensure all Kawal personnel are adequately trained to discharge their duties.
• Oversee and manage the outsourcing of security activities.
• Ensure efficient system of payment and processing of all invoices from security vendors.
• Conduct shooting practice for armed and potential armed guards.
• Conduct monthly training to enhance security personnel skills and capacity to perform duty.
• Organize bi-monthly security briefing / dialogue with all panel security vendors.
