Description

Primary Objective:
  • Handle settlement of futures and options products on timely manner.
  • Review key processes to ensure improvement in effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Reconciliation of deposit
  • Reconciliation of broker balance
  • Conversion of foreign currency
  • Assign position limits for new clients on-boarded
  • Assess and revise position limits

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely settlement of futures and options products.
  • Ensure timely processing of account opening and account closing for clients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of client’s information in all systems.
  • Perform deposit reconciliation and ensure all transactions are matched accurately.
  • Reconcile client’s initial margins, variations margins and open positions.
  • Ensure trade allocation, give/take up trades, ATA/MTM transfers are processed within Bursa Clearing’s cut off time.
  • Process clients DMA applications to enable clients to trade online.
  • Update and process of DMA users if any change of trading platform request.
  • Perform foreign currencies conversion for clients who has margin short fall.
  • Maintain and monitor client who has domestic borrowing does not breach BNM’s FEA threshold in FX conversion.
  • Participate in system enhancement project and responsible for ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree - : Degree in Business Administration/ Finance & Banking/ Accounting or related discipline.



Fresh graduate OR 2 years working experiences in financial services sector

Proficient with Microsoft Office

 

  • Expertise and capability of performing tasks relevant to the domain and delivering required output
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to provide answers to impromptu questions
  • Good communication skills (ability to communicate/collaborate with team members)
  • Ability to be patient and actively listens to others, and understands others' views
