Description

Primary Objective:

Lead, manage and maximize returns of the regional distribution channels

  • Drive customer acquisition, satisfaction and retention
  • Grow market share and share of customers’ wallet
  • Increase customers’ product portfolio breadth
  • Responsible for SME/SMI and middle market commercial loans growth
  • Support business development and servicing efforts of Retail, CIB and Islamic Banking RMs in the region

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for driving and building up SME market share for their respective regions.
  • Build up market share of SME loans (conventional & Islamic), ABF & deposits in respective area.
  • Grow SME deposits.
  • Review weekly sales targets / activities to ensure targets are met.
  • Proactively monitor credit quality through early recognition of signs of deterioration.
  • Provide leadership to the CBBC Heads and Business Development Managers (“BDMs”).
  • Ensure compliance to the policies & procedures set by the Bank, e.g. ensure that there are no adverse reports from the audit findings of the CBBC & as well as terms & conditions imposed by relevant approving authority(ies).
  • New Non Performing Loan (“NPL”) within approved budget.
  • To submit weekly financial performance to Head SME, Group Business Banking for consolidation.
  • Responsible for new Hire.
  • Compliance to credit policies & ensure no adverse credit audit report.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree - Any related field(s).



  • Minimum of 6 years experience in retail, commercial or corporate banking at an established financial institution
  • Understand the Group Business Banking’s strategic objectives, business model, and local SME market landscape
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
  • Provide feedback on market trends and jointly improve existing products and develop new products through customer and market intelligence
  • Jointly drive Group Business Banking conventional P&L and revenue growth
