Responsible to handle the following (listed) portfolios and ensure all the related claims are fairly & promptly settled in accordance with the Company's guidelines / Claims Manual, BNM & PIAM guidelines.
Proactively attend to the coinsurance/reinsurance claims and ensure prompt settlement is made in respect of our share of the loss.
Ensure all coinsurance/reinsurance claims recoveries are actively pursued and do not exceed the 6 months period.
Ensure the CAB reconciliation is done on a monthly basis and any issues to be raised and discussed with the Section Head and Head, BA/FA and if necessary to arrange internal meetings with Finance and Credit Control Team to discuss.
To verify, assess and approve promptly all claims within authority and for claims exceeding authority to process, recommend and submit them promptly to Superiors for consideration.
To provide guidance and direction to subordinates/ Branches/ Customers and in relation to technical claims matters.
To refer immediately any complaints received from Customers, Branches, BNM, PIAM, OFS and Intermediaries to Superiors, so that these are promptly and effectively resolved.
To monitor and review files on yearly basis.
To ensure prompt response to queries of claims in maintaining good customers' service.
To ensure all claims suspected having fraud elements or in violation of policy conditions are brought to attention of Section Head & Head, BA/FA.
Ensure all necessary advices to MNRB &Treaty Reinsurers/ XOL are submitted as required and laid down under the Reinsurance Agreement.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Company from time to time.

- Professional Qualification in Insurance
At least 6 years claim experiences in all classes of insurance.
Possess good communication skills in both written and spoken English
