Conduct retail and technical research in order to provide short-term trading ideas to Retail Securities, and effectively support Group Investment Banking efforts to generate revenue.

1. Meet requests from Retail Securities and Institutional Equities sales teams and clients, and provide strong research support to Group Wholesale Banking and Group Investment Banking revenue pillars.

2. Responsible for retail research products, as assigned:
• Active monitoring of the micro and macro factors affecting the retail research product(s).
• Generate short-term investment ideas on equity indices, commodities, currencies and stocks.
• Write retail research reports on these investment ideas on a daily and weekly basis, and in a timely manner.
• Consistently update Retail Securities clients on the latest developments.
• Assist in production/coordination of research publications.

3. Accompany the Head, Retail Research in retail seminars and other client servicing efforts in the home country as well as overseas markets, as assigned.

4. Retail Research Analysts, subject to performance, may be given an enlarged role with additional responsibilities to:
• Cover retail research products outside of the home country.
• Independently service Retail Securities clients at seminars.
• Handle Retail Securities clients' queries on a daily basis.

5. All analysts must:
• Display teamwork to achieve a coherent research product.
• Work closely with other Board Members and other senior management personnel at all times to develop RHB's research product and brand.
• Ensure compliance of all legal and regulatory requirements to achieve a high standard of integrity for RHB's research team and product.

Key Shared Accountabilities
• Collaborate with related departments in Group Investment Banking, including ECM, Corporate Finance, and Corporate Client Coverage teams.
• Support and collaborate with Group Research departments, including Economic Research and Fixed Income, Currencies and Rates Research.
