Support Head, Group Client Coverage, Private Sector in achieving division goals
Originate, manage, maintain, develop and deepen top-tier client relationships on behalf of RHB Banking Group through intimate knowledge of corporate clients
Generate investment banking/corporate banking businesses to achieve profitability target goals with the aim of deepening wallet size share, through intimate client relationships and in-depth understanding of economic/market trends

Key Individual Accountabilities
Manage relationships with top 50 Malaysia groups to secure investment banking and corporate banking and corporate banking deals:
Originate and structure IB and corporate banking deals for clients
Cooperate with IB business pillar departments on deal execution
Develop, review and improve manual procedures, policies, guidelines and work process
Identify business opportunities on IB deals and corporate banking transactions
Ensure high standard of integrity and compliance of all legal and regulatory requirements:
Comply at all times with all relevant acts, laws, articles of associations, rules and regulations
Ensure, maintain and enforce a proper supervisory program and competent system of internal controls
Provide coaching, guidance and feedback to staff in view of their work performance
Display teamwork and work closely with other Board Members and other senior management personnel at all times
Key Shared Accountabilities
Work hand in hand with IB business Pillar to originate and execute deals.
Work closely with ECM and IE to source and place equities to clients.
Work closely with DCM and Treasury to place bonds and to execute derivative transactions for clients
Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor Degree - Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Possess Capital Markets Services Representative's Licence (CMSRL) will be considered an advantage
More than 10 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in client services.
Strong client facing & leadership skills with the capability to deliver high caliber client service function & solutions driven to support the Group’s regional businesses.
Strong strategic thinker with capability to deliver a large change program whilst also managing an important, growing client facing ‘run-the-bank’ service.
Experience of working in a highly-matrixed environment & accustomed to bridging the gap between disparate organisations.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build & maintain regional relationships at all business levels.
Solid banking operational experience & analytical
Excellent influencer and negotiator with good stakeholder management skills.
Able to articulate a challenging strategic vision and motivate people to achieve this.
