Primary Objective:

Lead, strategize and drive the Retail & Digital Business for Group Asset Management.
Formulate and execute strategy to position RHBAM as top 3 player in Malaysia.
Formulate and execute strategy, utilize digital to create new channel and expand to new markets at appropriate time.
Increase AUM, sales and profitability of Retail pillar

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, develop and oversee the overall business strategy and functionality to achieve Retail & Digital Business KPI.

Build and strengthen internal and external relationships, manage customer relations, and implement strategies designed to increase revenue and acquire new business opportunities.

Identify potential partnerships, opportunities to enhance distribution and open up new markets.

Plan on comprehensive and innovative product development to enhance product offering

Embed the value of “Digital” and integrate into the business operating model from the perspective of sales revenue, cost savings, and customer experiences

Responsible for the planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall digital marketing strategy for RHB Group Asset Management.

Gather and analyze market intelligence on market trend, competitors' product and business strategies and other relevant market information, and develop viable strategies to stay competitive in the Retail & Digital space.

Monitor and update management on performance progress.

Develop strong and competent business teams in the country covering Retail & Digital Business.

Brand build via digital channels.

Enhance visibility via virtual seminars and podcasts alongside with media development as part of overall digital strategy.

Percent of Retail contribution vs overall business to improve margins of business.

Requirements

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree - Management, Business Administration or equivalent.

- Appropriate licensing depending on jurisdiction.

Minimum 10 years experience in the financial services industry with significant exposure to asset management related business.

Minimum 5 years experience in leading teams and accountable for the performance and results of the teams.

Analytical and problem solving skills.
Self motivated and result oriented.
Ability to work effectively with people from all levels.

Good understanding, knowledge and experience of the Asset Management industry.
