Description

Primary Objective:
  • Coordinate (schedule, plan and execute) RHB Group ITDR exercises and conducted at least twice a year (including Live tests) for the purpose of regulatory reporting for existing systems and implementing new DR plans for systems which needs enhancing.
  • Review existing and recommend effective RHB Group ITDR model or processes to address SBG/SFG requirements with the objectives to put in place an effective and cost efficient ITDR services management.
  • Provide third level of support for Disaster Recovery Automation (DRA) Tools and Coordination for DRA related matters
  • Team Lead for IT DR Team with periodic management role.  

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

  • Plan, design and review RHB Group ITDR requirements using ITIL practices
  • Provide ITDR strategies & solutions to existing applications or new projects to meet RTO/RPO
  • Perform ITDR site assessment and reviews and met stipulated requirements
  • Advise RHB Group users on ITDR needs, status and compliance requirements
  • Promote RHB Group ITDR awareness amongst users and/or business units
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory bodies in matters pertaining to ITDR
  • Formulate, and document RHB Group ITDR Processes
  • Perform periodic IT Business Continuity reviews in accordance to ISO/IEC 20000 (ITSM) compliance

 

ITDR Support

  • Coordinate (schedule, plan & execute) RHB Group ITDR exercises and have an error free DR execution
  • Help & assist supervisor  to ensure 100% completion of schedule ITDR & BCP exercises for the current year and test completed with meeting all key objectives with MTD, RTO and RPO
  • Develop a standard for RHB Group ITDR practice
  • Maintain all RHB Group ITDR plans to ensure up-to-date documentation at all times
  • Liaise with RHB Group users and business units on new and/or existing ITDR implementation for smooth implementation and fulfill regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with Audit/BNM on ITDR requirements and assist to achieve above satisfactory ratings
  • Provide 24x7 on call support to business units, senior management and the enterprise Crisis Management teams for any emergency or test requiring activation of DR plans and meet the regulatory requirements
Requirements
Requirements:
Diploma - Computer Science or Information Technology field or equivalent..

- • Certified expert in DR or BCP


  • 7 years working experience in DR lead role
  • 2 years working experience in DR supervisory role
  • Strong technical knowledge of various IT technology & architecture of systems
  • Good interpersonal, communication (oral and written), negotiation, presentation & teamwork
  • Possess flexibility and having ability to adapt to changing work requirements
