Description

Primary Objective:
  • Identify and develop merchant acceptance solutions to address full range of end user payment acceptance requirements
  • Understand customer journey from payment acceptance perspective to contribute to the overall goal and to take the product to market
  • To modify merchant acceptance solutions, products and services in terms of pricing, features and risk characteristics
  • Formulate product strategy in identifying opportunities towards extending the business and product value chain for retail and online businesses.
  • Fulfill the product roadmap in terms of payment acquiring journey

 


Key Responsibilities:
  • FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE

    Planning & Development

     

    • Develop product strategy based on consumer payment trend and industry demand
    • Leads the formation of a product starting from the initial idea to the sale of the final product.
    • Involve in strategic discussion to develop business development roadmap, pricing and marketing strategy for growth of cards acquiring market share
    • Ensure the merchant product stay competitive and to keep up with the changes and trends in the market
    • Implement key initiatives with the new acceptance touchpoints
    • Identify, plan and execute campaigns for cards merchants to accelerate the growth of payment transactions volume
    • Introduce new product and services to assist the growth of both Retail Merchants and Online Merchants.
    • Support bank wide cross-selling initiatives from acquiring business perspective, eg Jompay, Duitnow, RPP, FPX, C/A, credit cards, and Reflex.
    • To be able to translate strategy into marketing and business action plan

     

    Cross Functional Collaboration

     

    • Maintain relationship and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Liaise with related industry stakeholders for the launch and implementation of new payment acceptance products and services
    • Support all bank wide initiatives and activities related to payment acquiring.
    • To develop effective relationships with relevant external organizations, government agencies, associations, corporations and potential partners.
    • Co-ordinate and participate in current business growth proposals entered by Banks to both new and existing customers.
    • Analyze merchants’ business needs and communicate agreed upon scope of work between internal stakeholders and merchants appropriately.
    • To manage engagement opportunity with merchants and business partners.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree - Marketing / Business / Economics /Finance degree or related Banking diploma..
