Group Legal advises the businesses of RHB Banking Group and the management on matters ranging from company law, commercial law, financial services including cross border issues to litigation and recovery.
Group Legal also ensures the RHB Banking Group and the management team are kept abreast with the changes and development of laws relating to the financial services in Malaysia and our regional operations.
For Group Secretariat
Group Secretariat is responsible to ensure that the RHB Group of companies are compliant with legislation as in the Companies Act. Group Secretariat acts as the official liaison party for the company to communicate, prepare, and submit Statutory Returns with the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM). Any alteration in the company’s statutory information will be lodged with the registrar of Companies together with the duly completed [relevant prescribed] documents in a timely manner.
For Governance
Group Integrity & Governance is a dedicated unit formed early 2020 under Group Legal, Secretariat & Governance which primarily supports the Group Company Secretary's and Chief Integrity & Governance Officer's roles in providing the following:
Advisory services to the Board of Directors of RHB Bank Berhad on corporate governance matters, among others, in term of advocating latest regulatory requirements and adopting best international practices.
Promoting integrity, transparency and good disclosure across the organisation in serving the interests of various stakeholders.
Combating bribery and corruption in the workplace group-wide.
